Jake Davis takes Adrianne Ho out on the streets of SoHo during the wee hours for a bit of a surreal fashion run. Likening it to a lit and empty stadium after the game, Davis picked SoHo after dark because he thinks “it’s an incredibly interesting place to run as well as shoot an editorial.” This spread has been inspired by the bold color, prints and patterns now fashionable to technical women’s athletic wear, and the pieces showcase a mix of Kapital, Supreme, Nike, A.P.C., Engineered Garments and Carhartt.

Estevan Oriol's Brazilian Calendar Tour
Los Angeles-based cholo photographer Estevan Oriol continues his affinity for documenting fine women in his recent collaboration with clothing label TITS. Commissioned to shoot a calender piece, Oriol decided to visit Brazil to highlight a group of females that didn’t resemble the same recycled models of Southern California — and we’re not mad at that.

Russian Fashion
With the New Year already on the tips of some eager tongues, one can’t help but think about what the coming year will look like. Russian streetwear retailer and distributor Kixbox has released their annual calendar for 2013, which includes some rather ambrosial eye-candy. Shot by the talented Alexey Kiselev and styled by a team led by Anna Burmistrova, the calendar features 12 of Moscow’s best faces in (and sometimes out of) gear from Kixbox’s favorite brands. One can only hope 2013 looks like Kiseley and Burmistrova’s vision. Founded in 2006, Kixbox has developed into one of Russia’s pioneering streetwear retailers, opening concept stores and pop-up shops throughout the country. While Russian winters are of mythical, legendary chill, this calendar is sure to lend some warmth to even the deeply frostbitten.
